\"PAYNEfulIt’s a funny thing, Halloween. It’s an American tradition that, through copious amounts of exported television, has embraced our dank British shores and seems to have taken root like some sort of gnarled evil tree.<\/p>\n

Personally, I actually hate scary things, and yet I have a contradictory interest in the creepy or macabre1<\/a><\/sup>. One of my particular fascinations is with the popular internet phenomenon of “creepypasta<\/a>“, of which I have penned2<\/a><\/sup> two: “The Pained Man<\/a>” and “Pulling the Plug” (make of them what you will, your mileage may vary<\/a>).<\/p>\n

As a bit of fun, I sat down with Sam to read some random creepypastas culled from the online cesspool of the web. We cast scorn as appropriate. I’ve linked to them all below if you want to read along!<\/p>\n
