Here’s a yearly round-up of all the blog posts I made through 2012! The year where I tried to turn my blog into being exclusively about James Bond!
“Max Valerion” was a character I created in Fallout 3, and I took great pride in being an absolute bastard to everyone and everything in the game. When Fallout: New Vegas came about, I went to efforts to bring Max into the game. Unfortunately, the game just didn’t want to allow Max to be a bastard.
Apple products are made for preening smug pricks who like boasting about being part of the “Cult of Apple”. I go to painstaking lengths to prove my point, even dissecting ancient Apple vision videos from the 1980’s and the various Mac vs. PC adverts.
Something a lot of modern games do is pad out their content by having hidden items scattered throughout the levels. I pick several examples and bitch about how annoying they are to obsessive PSN trophy collectors like myself.
Having lambasted Apple users the previous month, I then turn on the PC Mother race to defend games consoles, even though PCs are clearly superior in every single aspect. This all starts with a Facebook post that annoyed me, because I’m a reactionary berk like that.
In the first of many posts where I sit down and laugh at films with my mates, we watch a classic Bond film. It’s the one where Bond rapes a woman in a barn. Wait, what?
The one where there’s lots of skiing, scuba diving and rock climbing. And a pubic mound.
The one where Bond takes on the Smuggest Man in the World and the power of the sun (when I posted the link to this on Facebook I wrote “This one took a little bit longer, because there’s two hours of urinating on a popular franchise using CGI. Also, Halle Berry.”).
The one where Bond goes to space and Jaws is awesome.
The one that’s actually a proper Cold War era spy thriller.
Having seen Skyfall at the cinema with the other two blokes and the Chick, I spend an entire blog post not being entirely sure whether I liked the film or not.
The one where Bond goes up against Christopher Walken.
The one where Bond plays poker.
